I'm in my 40s so I’m not as carefree as I used to be. I worry about things like expenses and travel safety much more now than I did when I was younger, which is why I think getting insurance when traveling is important. I like doing adventurous things and you never know what can happen. Many people don't realize that, or at least they don’t think about it enough. Travel insurance is one of those things that you wish you never had to use, but if you did have to use it, then you’ll be glad that you had it.

"Like all my referrals, I never try to hard sell anything. I tell them like it is – if you’re going to a city like Hong Kong to eat and shop for 3 days, then you probably won't need insurance as much. But if you plan on going bungee jumping or even a city bike tour, then insurance is a good idea. I think it’s important to always be honest and believe in the brand you're trying to promote. Otherwise, you’ll come off as insincere. People aren't stupid."
