Vida is a non-profit organization set up to assist volunteers and communities alike. They focus on three core programs: general medicine, dental health and veterinary medicine and as such attract students from these faculties who are looking to further their practical experience whilst they help their fellow humans or animals.

We want our students to be as prepared as possible for their service learning experience and we see it as a great benefit that they can purchase affordable emergency medical and travel insurance coverage available for specific periods of time. They also have 24/7 access to their membership incase they need to make a claim.

What are the benefits to their business?
"Although our programs do not represent high risk, being insured will protect our students against a variety of scenarios. In the unlikely event of something going wrong, World Nomads takes care of the situation directly with the insured party. We also receive a referral fee that financially contributes with our humanitarian programs."

"We've found that email has been very effective and we also include some information about travel insurance and World Nomads in our enrolment materials."
